A low poly character for a highly stylized fantasy exploration game. I had so much fun texturing her face. Probably due to my deep, undying, nostalgic love for the N64 Zelda games in particular, there’s just something about a cartoon face on a low-poly model.

Low Poly Lotl is based off of the adorable, evolution-arily confused creature the Axolotl. Lotl lives in a secluded outpost in the middle of nowhere, which suits his chill, laid back sensibilities just fine.

This low ploy ship was designed to combine elements of a sea faring vessel, with some classic sci-fi elements… Because I’m still bitter Treasure Planet hasn’t received the renowned it deserves.
This little environment was done for a Noir style murder mystery set in 1940’s Cairo. I don’t know if you’ve picked up on this yet, but I LOVE color, so I wanted to take the idea of the classic black and white aesthetic of Film Noir, and substitute it for a monochromatic palette, and subject the genre’s roots with it’s iconic dramatic lighting.
Because who wouldn’t want to make a low poly tacky-tastic 80’s flat? I had a blast with the lighting in this scene, if you couldn’t tell by the excessive use of neon, and emission maps.
